Well i mostly see bands in a pubs ( suprisingly ) so i'd say The Druids Arms in Maidstone is always good for a band as they have a court yard out the side of the pub which is covered and has heaters so you can jump around to the band like a complete loon whilst still being able to smoke and stay dry and warm. Job done.

Went to a gig down the Lee's Cliff Hall in Folkestone in the week... wicked night altho the venue is a bit toilet but kind of love it for that lol

Lee's Cliff Hall.... Oh what memories of that venue! James and Ride were the bands I saw down there.I think it was my sisters first indie gig when we went and saw Ride. Plenty of shoe gazing and feedback!!

A new live venue I've recently found is The George in Ashfords town centre.

I went to Maidstone a few months ago and managed to catch a live band at Earls, the band played a great mix of current and classic rock. The pub is opposite the theatre in the town centre.

I've heard that the Punch and Judy in Tonbridge will soon be the place to see live bands in Kent.

Leas Cliff Hall and the Tunbridge Wells Forum - so many big bands played there when I were young!

Not really been out to any others, may take some of the recommendations..

The George in Ashford has now started to do live bands and what with it being local to us we seem to end up there alot.... fair play to them ... its just what Ashford needs!

The Forum(old public toilet) I've seen some cracking bands there! a lot of new and up and coming bands use this venue to try out their new material.

I haven't been to the Leas Cliff Hall in ages! but I remember seeing legendary indie band 'James' play there in the early 90's.

I would'nt say its the best live venue in Kent! but I used to live in Chatham and one of the few places to see a Live band is the 'Alexandra Hotel' on Railway Street.

I would normally go to London to catch a live band, but I have been to a few local venues such as the Foum and Lees Cliff Hall in the past.

The Druids Arms ( or The Hogs Head - depends how long you been drinking in there lol ) is such a good pub and music venue - try to get down there as much as poss.
