I took my partner to Venice for a surprise on his 30th birthday. We had a short break, it is such a romantic city i would recommend it to anyone. We stayed just off St Marks Square and that is where it all happens, so make sure if you go you stay within that area. We did all the major sight seeing, eat lots of food and just had a excellent time. We did go on a gondals, it is expensive but well worth doing. Lets face it where else in the world can you witness a sinking city. Venice is beautiful and a ideal place for architecture and anyone who loves art.
