It's nearly time to sit in a nice pub garden in the summer sun, so I thought it would be nice to hear of all your favourite country pubs in Kent?

Where is it? What's the food like? Garden? Price?

The Smarden Bell, in Smarden (kind of obvious) good food nice garden in the middle of no where, Try it...

Spotted Dog I think its in Lamberhurst and they are dog friendly (the four legged variety) Great food and amazing views.

Dog friendly, nice will have to take HCG for lunch...! 

Anyone know the Red Barn in Lingfield? Not Kent I know but it is run by Geronimo Inns who used to run the Bullfinch in Riverhead. I really liked the way they had turned that into a gastropub, bearing in mind that when I was a lad, the Bullfinch was my local and a real haven for wine , women and song. Even had my stag night there!

If anyone has been to the Red Barn please let me know as it is a long way to go if its rubbish!
