It seems to me that with the credit crunch biting really hard on the local economy, now is the time for the Kent to rally round and support our kent based business economy.
The temptation right now is to buy cheap and screw suppliers to floor. Whilst this is to a point a natural reaction, the sustained effect will be to drive small businesses to the wall. So in the short term you gain a good deal but in the longer term you lose a valuable supplier.
Common sense needs to prevail!!!
Right now, try to visualise my company, Crucial Colour in TW, as a slick Audi R8. People keep want to have a ride round the block with us nut they only have the money for a Skoda. Normally I would walk away. Currently I say, get in and head wherever you want!
Unless the market wakes from its slumber, I shall be printing everyones corporate literature for the price of a bus ticket until we finally keel over and die later next year. Is that what Kent business really wants????
