I believe whole heartedly that there is a time and a place for all different genres of music. However, I personally am very much a Rock and Metal kind of guy with my roots in 80's Hair Metal, bands like Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Journey, Scorpions. But I've ingrained myself into the various local music scenes around Kent and I'm a keen follower of Waterhorse (Folk rock band from Canterbury) and Burgundy (Dartford). I make podcasts about various unsgined bands, here's the link:

Hi mate, 

I was at The Forum in Tunbridge wells the other week for The Jamfoundations Battle of the Bands, and there was one band which really stuck out from Sevenoaks called Wheres Billy, they are playing this thursday at the forum. Why dont you come on down and check them out.  

I'll probably have to give that one a miss I'm afraid, I'm going to be working on the mountains of footage I've taken over the last couple of weeks. Also, I'm a music reviewer, but unfortunately I'm a music reviewer on a budget

 Though I did find them on myspace and bloody hell they've got a sweet sound! Actually independent styled as opposed to mainstream "indy" style. They sound fun, I'll add them and pester them to do a podcast at some point. Thanks for the tip dude
