Job losses being caused by the volcano ash.

This is rediculous. Im reading about how the volcanic ash is causing havoc around the UK airports and such.

Now these same airports are considering job cuts to make up for the money theyve lost.

They lost a billion pounds and their shares plummeted... is that enough reason to do all this tho?

Quoting "Baggage handlers, check-in staff and admin workers at airports across the UK could all be affected by any move to reduce the huge losses airlines are suffering."

this is silly really. and it says that no one can predict how long it will go on. its last eruption lasted 2 years.

how many more jobs are going to be lost in that time?

I just saw this and I am wondering - do you think people really lost jobs over this? I mean I know it disrupted a lot of businesses etc but surely not enough to cause job looses?

I thought it was funny that again the country had to come to a standstill because of something caused by nature! I mean ther4e are other ways to travel right?
