I was reading the express today and came across an interesting piece of news.

Isnt is good to know what the government gets up to with hard earned tax payers money? 

Quoting: "THE shocking truth about how civil servants have squandered billions of pounds of taxpayers’ money under Labour was exposed last night in a *damning Whitehall report."

The statistics:
£11million bill for taxis,
£57million on *office furniture
£564million on *spin doctors.
The information technology bill has hit £5.8billion.
Consultancy fees soared to £1.6billion in one year alone

11 million on taxis? seriously? why not just get a car and do it yourself?

Now i ask, with a figure like that if you add it all up.. could that not have gone towards creating jobs and getting all of us out of this slump?
